Weaving Dreams

Wandering amidst a sea of confusion and temptation, trying to find my way to the shore.

That is all you really need to know about me.

#happiness

“Happiness is like a butterfly; the more you chase it, the more it will elude you, but if you turn your attention to other things, it will come and sit softly on your shoulder …”

– Henry David Thoreau (via myquotelibrary)

When passing through the storms of life, please remember:

1. It could be worse.

2. It will get better.

Stay strong, focus on what you can do, not what you cannot, and know that the clouds will soon part, and the sun will return again.

– Doe Zantamata (via myquotelibrary)

“Don’t hold on because you think there will be no one else. There will always be someone else. You’ve got to believe you are worth more than being repeatedly hurt by someone who doesn’t really care…and believe that someone will see what you are really worth and treat you the way you should be treated.”

– Anonymous (via myquotelibrary)

“The first step to living the life you want, is leaving the life you don’t want. Taking that first step forward is always the hardest. But then each step forward, gets easier and easier. And each step forward, get you closer and closer. Until eventually, what had once been invisible, starts to be visible. And what had once felt impossible, starts to feel possible.”

– Karen Salmansohn (via myquotelibrary)

“Let us be grateful to people who make us happy, they are the charming gardeners who make our souls blossom.”

– Marcel Proust (via myquotelibrary)

Butterflies, blushing and a smile that just won’t go away- find a person who can give you all of that and you’ll be thanking us in no time.

i guess i already have one?

“Even if happiness forgets you a little bit, never completely forget about it.”

– Jacques Prévert

Midnight Musings

what exactly is the definition of happiness?

Can happiness be acquired through passion? Passion between lovers? Passion for a goal one desires to achieve?

Or can happiness be interpreted as a form of quiet content? To feel peaceful and tranquil, with friends and family there to cherish and support you? To experience a type of love that may not be passionate, but instead is quiet and sincere?

“Any happiness, no matter how brief, seemed better than the long, simmering torture of waking up day after day, knowing I could never have him.”

– Becca Fitzpatrick (Crescendo)
